What is Speech Therapy?
Speech Therapy is a Special Education program that helps children with communication disorders, including articulation difficulties, language delays and fluency disorders (stuttering). In order to recieve Speech Therapy through the public school, a child must be referred for Special Education and go through a testing process. If the testing identifies a severe communication disorder, the child can qualify to receive services.
