    From the Desk of Debby Sanders, Interim Superintendent:
    The AISD School Board has approved Karen Wright as the new principal of Aubrey Middle School.

    Karen Wright has been in the district for the past 14 years and has taken on a variety of roles that will ensure her success as our new Middle School principal. Mrs. Wright's teaching experience at the elementary level gives her a unique perspective that will be helpful for students as they transition through their middle school years. She was also a special education teacher and Student Support Team Coordinator for all grades which gives her experience with overcoming learning challenges and will enable her to assist both teachers and parents when students struggle academically. Also, She has been an assistant principal and is currently the EBLC principal. She has great people skills and a vast working knowledge of AISD. I am confident that Ms. Wright will ease the transition for the Middle School staff, students, and parents, and will carry on the successes of Mrs. Jones.

    In addition, Delore Jones has agreed to stay on with Aubrey ISD and help in the Administration office. She will be in the new position of Director of Programs and Instructional Evaluation. Mrs. Jones' years of experience and knowledge will be a valuable asset to our administrative team.

  • Fifth Graders will be going to Adventure Camp in September.
    Cost is $160 for student and $80 for chaperone.
    Payment must be made before camp starts.
    Dates of Camp: Sept. 8-10, 2014.
