With the flu spreading rapidly this winter season, the Aubrey Independent School District is doing everything it can to prevent the virus from impacting students’ educational learning.
One of the Aubrey ISD’s family values is service, and the Chaparral staff and students showed their many acts of service during the holiday season.
The students are members of the AMS 100-Mile Club, a group that meets immediately after school to encourage children’s fitness. Since the start of the school year, around 20 AMS students show up every day after school to run or walk a mile.
Sherri Clement was named the Child Nutrition Program Director at the Aubrey Independent School District, announced Aubrey ISD Superintendent Dr. David Belding.
The annual Daddy-Daughter Dance is Saturday, Feb. 10 at the AHS Cafeteria from 6-8 p.m. The K-5 event is semi-formal and tickets are on sale from January 9-February 9. Tickets are sold online through My School Bucks.

Are you interested in being a Watch D.O.G.S. dad at AMS? We would love to provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. Please contact the AMS counselors.
