The Aubrey Independent School District is hosting Community Meetings to share information about the November 2017 bond election. The first community meeting will be Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Brockett Elementary School.
Aubrey Independent School District continues to outpace state averages on the ACT college entrance exam, according to the latest ACT score report. Aubrey High School’s 2017 graduating class scored 1.9 points higher on the composite score than the state’s average.
A third-grade student at Brockett Elementary School won the Aubrey ISD Anti-Bullying Campaign T-shirt Design Contest this week. Makayla Blanchard was surprised with the news in her classroom Monday afternoon by Brockett principal Kari Abrams.
The Aubrey ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to call a $51 million bond election to be held on November 7, 2017. The Board action follows a recommendation from the District’s Facilities Planning Committee to address growth, school renovations, additions, and improvements to facilities.
Aubrey ISD is committed to implementing a comprehensive strategic plan for the Fall of 2017. The journey began this past February with members of our community, the AISD Board of Trustees, parents, teachers, students, and staff working together to map out an authentic educational experience for our children.
