I graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in Speech Communications and spent several years working as a professional writer. In 2012, I returned to school and earned my teaching certificate at UNT, and found my true passion when I entered the teaching field. Last year, I earned my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Wesleyan University. I learned a lot of great strategies that I am very excitied to continue implementing in my new classroom at Aubrey High School.
Personal Background: I am married to my elementary school sweetheart, and we have two amazing kids. Max, our youngest (not pictured because he doesn't know how to act right when we take pictures) is starting his freshmen year at UT Austin and our daughter, Grace, just completed her master's degree at TWU and is about to begin her career as a Speech Language Pathologist. We also have a cat that I think may be out to get us and nine chickens.
I look forward to an exciting year at Aubrey High School, getting to know my students and their families, and teaching my two favorite grade levels!
