When Can I Can Enroll My Student Online?
Families will not be able to register their students until Monday, July 20. Accounts can be created beforehand but parents will not be able to login after the account is created until July 20.

Why Does the ParentPortal Website Look Different?
The ParentPortal website has a new look. ParentPortal upgraded to a new system called ASCENDER. The same information is there, it just looks a little different and will be more user friendly.

Why is Registration Online? We Registered In Person Last Year.
With ParentPortal updating to the new ASCENDER, we are now capable of doing online registration for the first time. We also want to continue to social distance and avoid having families come up to the schools.

What if I Have a Returning Student and Don't Have a Parent Portal Account?

Is my Student New or Returning?
If your student has been enrolled in Aubrey ISD before, they are a returning student. If you do not have a Parent Portal account, but have a returning student, you need to call your campus for a student ID number. You will need this number to link your account to your student's account. Please do not create a new student unless your student is new to the District.

What if I Have Multiple Children? Do I have to log in twice?
If you have an existing account, you should see all your children listed when you log in. You will need to verify each student. If you have any changes, you will have to make them on all accounts.

What if I Have an Address Change? Do I Have to Change it Multiple Times?
If you have an address change and have multiple children, you will have to change the address in each student's account.

Is There a New Url for the ASCENDER ParentPortal Website?
There is a new URL for the new ASCENDER Parent Portal. However, a URL redirect has been put on each old parent portal URL. This will automatically direct parents to the new ASCENDER ParentPortal URL.

Will Parents Need New Account Information (User Name and Password)?
Parents will use the same account information (user name and password) they used with the old ParentPortal. Only new accounts created for new students will be receiving new user names and passwords.

What Browsers Support ASCENDER ParentPortal?
The new ASCENDER ParentPortal is sensitive to browsers. Please use Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome when using ParentPortal. Please also update your browser to the latest version. We have found Google Chrome is the best browser to use.

Why Can't I See the Menu?
If you are having issues viewing the menu, please set the browser page to 75% or less.

Why Aren't My Old Alerts Working?
Alerts may be reset to OFF after the migration to ASCENDER. Parents will need to go to ALERTS > SET ALERTS and verify the alerts are set up per their requirements.

What if I Have a New Email?
The email address associated with ParentPortal account must also be entered on the student's Contact tab for alerts to function; parents must verify their email address on the My Accounts page.
