  • Q. What is Telehealth? 

    A: Telehealth uses computer and video technology to connect your child at school to a doctor or nurse practitioner at Children’s Health.

    Q. How do I enroll my child?
    A. Visit to enroll online.

    Do I need to re-enroll my child each year?
    Yes, a new form must be submitted at the beginning of each school year.

    Q: Do you share the information with my child’s primary care pediatrician?
    A. A summary will be provided to you and your child’s primary care pediatrician to continue treatment as necessary.

    Q: Is there a cost?

    A. If you have commercial insurance or Medicaid, Children’s Health will collect and verify your coverage. With Medicaid, your visit will be completely covered. No insurance? No problem. We encourage you to continue using Telehealth as the bill will be no more than $50, and there are discounts available when you pay at the time of visit. If you have questions concerning billing, please call 844-483-5363, Option 1.

    Q: What if the school nurse’s office cannot get a hold of me to authorize an appointment?

    A: If we have a consent to bill on file, the school nurse may move forward with the appointment. If there is no consent on file, the school nurse will not conduct the appointment until the Children’s Health team has connected with the parent/guardian.
