AHS College Fair is Wednesday, Sept. 14
Aubrey High School will hold its College Fair on campus on Wednesday, Sept. 14th from 1-3 p.m. It is only for AHS students and more than 65 universities, colleges, trade schools and military personnel will be represented. -
Credit Recovery Options for Summer of 2022
If an AHS student has failed to earn credit for a course by making below a 70 for the year, there are several options to recover these credits needed for graduation from Aubrey High School.

Credit by Exam Examination Windows
A CBE is one method for students to demonstrate proficiency in grade level OR
course content. The CBE is administered by the district or test provider in accordance with local
district policy. Scores will be reported directly to the school district and/or student. In Aubrey
ISD, there are 4 annual windows when CBE’s may be administered. -
ATC Informational Meeting Recap
The AHS counselors held an ATC informational meeting over Zoom on February 3. This meeting focused on extra vocational classes that are offered at Denton's La Grone Academy for junior and senior students. These are classes that focus on many programs like: Forensic Science, Health Science, Education and Training, Networking, Graphic Design, Audio Video Production, Engineering, Law Enforcement, Welding, Aviation, and Animation.

AHS College Fair is Thursday, Feb. 10
Aubrey High School will hold its College Fair on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. in gym foyer. The 2022-23 dual credit meeting for first time dual credit students and parents will meet in AHS cafeteria at 6 p.m. Dual credit packets of required paperwork will be available at this meeting.

New Website Providing Updates on FAFSA
The Center for New York City Affairs has a new website, https://understandingfafsa.org/ which provides updates each week on FAFSA, financial aid, verification, COVID aid programs & more. The site also offers friendly help for undocumented students, homeless students, immigrant families & students with no parent contact. All info is easy to read & cell-phone friendly.

CoServ Scholarship Applications Open on August 30, 2021
CoServ scholarship applications open on August 30, 2021. CoServ's scholarship program will distribute $35,000 in seven $5,000 scholarships to high school seniors. These scholarships are exclusive to high school seniors from CoServ Electric and Gas households.

CoServ’s Youth Leadership Tour Program Opens On August 30
CoServ’s Youth Leadership Tour program will award seven juniors to be seniors, an all-expenses-paid tour starting with a day and a half of our state’s capitol, Austin, Texas, then depart to Washington, D.C. for eight and a half days for high school juniors across our seven service territories. Contests closes Friday, October 8, 2021.

Letter of Recommendation Request Form
Students are required to complete the Letter Of Recommendation Request form and attach a copy of their high school resume, before they request that Mrs. Holloway write a letter of recommendation.Click this link for the request form -
Transcript Requests
Transcript requests go to Mrs. Knapp, our AHS Registrar, in the front office. There is a hard copy Transcript Request Form to complete and return to Mrs. Knapp. We will also accept a specific college transcript request form signed by a student.

Transcript Requests Via SENDU
Students requesting a transcript via SENDU, please remember that this also includes a requirement that the counselor complete a Secondary School Report. Within that Secondary School Report is a section to upload a letter of recommendation. Students need to complete a high school resume and attach it to the Letter of Recommendation Request form for this information to be uploaded/sent to your college(s) of choice.
