• Important AP Calculus Documents

This document contains all of the assignments you will have from the book during this year. It will not inform you of when they will be covered but does provide the order in which the sections will be covered.
As a rough guideline, we will complete chapters P through 5, most of chapter 6, and half of chapter 7 by shortly after spring break. The remainder of the year will be invested in preparation for the AP Calculus exam.
    Required Materials
This document contains a list of all the items you will be required for the course.
Most of the items are readily available at large department stores, however availability will diminish as the beginning of the school year nears.
The more difficult items to acquire can most often be found at the office supply specialty stores.
Course Outline This document describes aspects of the course such as how grading will be performed, late work policies, absence policies, etc.
Syllabus This is the course syllabus filed and approved by the College Board for AP Calculus AB.
Summer Project This is a PDF file that contains practice problems to review content from Pre-Calculus.  The intent is for calculus students to work on the packet during the summer break so that when they return to school, they have an idea of their strengths and weaknesses.  We will then be able to work on those topics to provde students with a stronger foundation for the work to come in calculus.  The finised packet will be taken as a grade at the END of the first grading period of the year.  In this way, students new to the school will have ample opportunity to work on the material without any negative consequences.
