Grace Period for Free and Reduced Priced Meals Ends On Sept. 29

  • If your child received free or reduced priced meals last year, those benefits will carry over into the first 30 days of the new school year or until a new application is submitted and a new determination is made. After Sept. 29, only students who submitted a new application this school year and qualified for the program will receive free or reduced price meals.

Free and Reduced Meals Information

  • Children need healthy meals to learn. Aubrey ISD offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast costs Elementary $1.50 and Middle-High $1.75; lunch costs Elementary $2.75 and Middle-High $2.90. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced-price meals. Reduced-price is $.30 for breakfast and $.40 for lunch. If you received a notification letter that a child is directly certified for free or reduced-price meals, do not complete an application. Let the school know if any children in the household attending school are not listed in the letter.

Complete only one application for all the students in the household and return the completed application to Sherri Clement, 415 Tisdell Lane, Aubrey, Tx 76227. If you have questions about applying for free or reduced-price meals, contact Sherri Clement 940-668- 0074; or email sclement@aubreyisd.net.
