Dual Credit Information

  • What is the Dual Credit Program?
    The Dual Credit program at AHS provides an opportunity for eligible high school students to enroll in college-level courses at NCTC and TWU to earn both college credit and high school credit simultaneously.

  •  Dual Credit at AHS

    AHS is proud to offer various ways for students to earn college credit while still in high school. Students have the opportunity to pick the route that best fits their future pursuits.

    Students must meet admissions requirements and get approval from their high school counselor for the dual credit courses selected. Students are responsible for paying for tuition, books and fees associated with dual credit courses.

2020-21 Dual Credit Update (August 20)

  • North Central Texas College- NCTC

    Registration has closed.

    Classes begin on August 24th

    All NCTC classes are online and can be access through CANVAS.  You can get to CANVAS through your myNCTC account.

    Texas Woman’s University- TWU

    Registration has reopened on August 19th at 10:00 a.m.

    *       Regular Registration will end on August 21st at 5:00 p.m. and the payment deadline is at 6:00 p.m.

    *       TWU classes begin on August 24th

    *       Late Registration Period is August 22nd-27th and a $50 late fee will be assessed.

    *       Students will be able to add/drop in Student Planning until the end of late registration.

    *       A $10.00 fee will be charged for student-initiated course drops or adds during late registration.


    Aubrey High School “OFF PERIODS”

    The no off periods for the 2020-2021 school year has changed.  Mrs. Holloway will be delivering

    permission forms to each online course proctor.  The form will give permission for the student to be off campus once it is completed and signed by the student and parent.

    The application deadline for ApplyTexas Fall 2020 is August 7.
