• My name is Beverly Langford. This is my tenth year of teaching. I taught 3 years in Marlin ISD in central Texas and 6 years in Kilgore ISD in far East Texas. In Marlin, I taught Biology. AP Bio, Anatomy and Physiology, and TAAS Preparations. In Kilgore, I taught Biology, Pre AP Bio, and AP Biology. I have tutored biology STAAR last year during COVID at AHS and also became the online remote-biology and environmental science instructor in January.  I am very excited to join the Aubrey family and look forward to seeing student faces every day.

I was actually born and raised in Dallas. I graduated from Bryan Adams High School. I decided to have a family and postponed college until all my children were out of school. I went to Richland College for my associates, Texas Tech for my Bachelors in Biology with an environmental science endorsement, minored in Chemistry and received my Masters from UNT in secondary education.

My husband, Mike and I have been married 30+ years. He is retired Air Force Senior Master Sgt and enjoyed many years of flying and particularly his years as an in-air-refueler. We have 5 wonderful grown children we are very proud of who have blessed us with 12 and soon to be our 13th grandchild. We have a 35-acre farm in the big city of CENTER, Texas, out in the pine tree curtains. I have a rent house in Denton to accommodate this new position and I am now able to get to spend time with grandbabies and be a part of all their activities. Most of our grandbabies are close Aubrey, Sachse, Frisco, College Station, and my one daughter and her family are in California. I did get to spend 5 days with them in July. It was good to see them and how much they had grown up.

Our family loves family time including camping and swimming and just walking on the nature trails. I love to sew and quilt which is very enjoyable with all the grandbabies. I am an avid reader and enjoy learning new things. I look forward to hearing your children’s GREAT Ideas!

Again, I am sincerely looking forward to working with my students and parents. Please know I take this opportunity seriously since you share your precious children with me. Hopefully, it will be a wonderfully successful year for all of us.
