    I would like to tell you a little about myself. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas and a Master of Science Degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman's University. This is my 21st year at Aubrey ISD. Before I became a School Counselor, I taught Third Grade at Aubrey Elementary and Aubrey Intermediate School. I have been the counselor at the Middle School and Elementary levels for 15 years. I will provide guidance lessons in each classroom about our Aubrey Core Values, as well as the 7 Mindsets Social Emotional learning program. I conduct group sessions for needs such as divorce, social skills and friendship. I will also conduct sessions for students' individual needs. I  plan and implement the Character Program at Brockett, based on decisions made by our Character Committee. This year I will be bringing more Social Emotional Learning to our students. I am looking forward to a wonderful year!

Credit by Exam

  • CBE is one method for students to demonstrate proficiency in grade level OR course content. The CBE is administered by the district or test provider in accordance with local district policy. Scores will be reported directly to the school district and/or student. In Aubrey ISD, there are 4 annual windows when CBE’s may be administered. :
