My name is Erik Seward and I am excited to be here at Aubrey Middle School.  I have been teaching and coaching since 2004 at both the Middle School and High School levels.  I have been in Aubrey since 2017.  I grew up in Denton and graduated from Denton High School.  I attended East Central University in Ada,OK, where I played college football and studied Exercise Science.  I earned a MEd in Secondary Education at the University of North Texas.  I have been married since 2004 and have three energetic daughters that keep me busy.  When I do have free time my hobbies are playing golf and watching Cowboys, Rangers, Mavericks and Stars games.  

I am excited to continue the Outdoor Education program in Aubrey ISD.  It is a great program that introduces many outdoor activities to the students.  The main units that will be taught will be Hunter Education, Boater Education, Angler Education, Archery, Dutch Oven Cooking, and Reunion Games.
