Hello parents and students of Aubrey, Texas!

I am very excited to be here for another year with you. This year I will be teaching 7th grade ELAR. 

This year in ELAR, we will practice comprehension of increasingly challenging texts including stories, plays, poems, and nonfiction articles. Your child will continue learning how to analyze text, infer its meaning, and explain their textual evidence. In addition to reading skills, we will work on perfecting grammar skills that will help beginning writers communicate deeper meanings through their writing.
