  • ESSER Overview

    The ESSER II and III grant programs are authorized in the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) and American Rescue Plan Act (ARP). It was signed into law in March 2021. 

    The purpose of ESSER in general is to award subgrants to local educational agencies (LEAS to address the impact that COVID-19 has had, and continues to have, on elementary and secondary schools.
