Welcome!  

My name is Brandy Gutierriez and I am thrilled to be back in the classroom.  I am a proud Texan and frequently say things like: fixin' to, y'all, and bless your heart (multiple meanings).  I graduated from The University of Houston and taught English for a couple of years before staying home to care for my children.  I married my college Algebra tutor (he likes to tell people I am the only person he has not been able to teach math to, so he felt obligated to "save" me by marrying me).  We have 3 sweet-n-spicy daughters and 1 son who feels outnumbered and misunderstood.  We have 2 dogs and chickens.  I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling, going to our ranch, jogging, and of course reading/audible.  I am a "thankful to have a glass" person with a pretty good sense of humor, which I feel are crucial traits to teaching adolescents.  I am excited to be here and will do my best to bless this creative mess aka Mrs. Gutierrez's Class.
