2nd Annual Chaparral Showcase Will Be Held on Saturday, Aug. 6

The Aubrey Independent School District is hosting a Chaparral Showcase to make connections and build community on Saturday,Showcase on Saturday, Aug 6 Aug. 6 at Fuller Elementary. The event will be held in various locations inside Fuller Elementary from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

The showcase is open to the entire Aubrey ISD community, including new and returning families who have pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students. The goal of the showcase is to connect families with local businesses, services and resources in the community.

At the event, families can purchase district t-shirts, sign up for library cards, connect with booster clubs and sign up to volunteer with local groups. Families can learn about local activities and clubs that their children can get involved with. Local businesses and community organizations will have booths set up in the gymnasium and school hallways. Food vendors will have snacks to sample. 

Aubrey ISD administrators will be holding forum presentations in the cafeteria from 9 to 12 p.m. Presentations will include city officials, Aubrey ISD police officers, Aubrey ISD principals and coaches. The Aubrey FFA and band programs will also be featured.
