Aubrey Independent School District (ISD) is pleased to announce the Aubrey High School Class of 2023 Top 10 graduates.

Alexander “Xander” Rouk has earned the distinction of valedictorian as the senior with the highest cumulative grade point average (GPA).

Daniel Warren is the salutatorian for the Class of 2023 with the second-highest cumulative GPA.

Xander has attended Aubrey schools since pre-kindergarten and is the son of Joanie and T.L. Rouk. He credits the District and friends for his academic success.

“I couldn't have done it without the help of the Aubrey staff throughout my entire life, and the friends I've made that have always motivated me to be successful and be competitive,” Xander said.

Throughout high school, Xander was involved in the Aubrey High School Marching Band, Academic Decathlon, UIL Academics, Beta and Student Council. He plans to attend Oklahoma State University to study Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, and feels Aubrey ISD has paved the way for his post-secondary journey.

“It taught me how to be persistent and help others,” Xander said. “Aubrey ISD prepared me to be a leader in the paths and careers I take in the future.”

Daniel being named as salutatorian brings him great pride that he attributes to his classmates.

“It makes me honored and blessed to be a part of such an inspiring group of students,” Daniel said.

Daniel has attended Aubrey schools since sixth grade and is the son of Michelle and Dan Warren. He feels Aubrey ISD has prepared him for life after high school.

“I was challenged academically and given opportunities to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities,” he said.

During his high school years, Daniel was involved in Basketball, National Beta Club, National Honor Society, Student Council, UIL Academics and Academic Decathlon. He plans to attend Oklahoma State University to major in Computer Engineering.
