Now, both schools have individuals they are named for. Congratulations to Aubrey ISD Deputy Superintendent Terrie McNabb. Led by principal Dr. Heather Vandiver, McNabb Middle School is here! This year’s district holiday luncheon took on a new look but still served as a fantastic way to kick off the holiday season. Each campus celebrated uniquely, with meals and treats for their staff in festive styles. At the high school, breakfast was delivered door-to-door. Staff district and campus gifts were also handed out. To start the holiday festivities, retirees, Chaparral Legacy Cooperative members, and district administrators enjoyed a luncheon at Aubrey Middle School, highlighted by a variety of student performances. We wish all our families a holiday season filled with rest, joy, and cherished moments together. Watch video here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/14W6vPqWd3/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Aubrey High School Alum and FFA Member Alexis Reese Blankenship Earns Prestigious American FFA Degree The Aubrey FFA Chapter is proud to announce that Alexis Reese Blankenship, a 2023 graduate of Aubrey High School, has been awarded the American FFA Degree, the highest honor bestowed by the National FFA Organization. This distinction, earned by less than 1% of FFA members each year, recognizes Alexis’s outstanding dedication to agricultural education, leadership, and career development. Alexis achieved this prestigious degree through her Placement Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) at Aubrey Florist, where she gained extensive hands-on experience in floral design, customer service, and small business operations. Her work at Aubrey Florist not only refined her technical skills but also highlighted her creativity and professionalism, making her an exemplary ambassador of FFA values. The American FFA Degree requires members to demonstrate significant achievements in their SAE, as well as community service and leadership activities. Alexis’s unwavering commitment to her SAE and the Aubrey FFA Chapter is a testament to her hard work, perseverance, and passion for the agriculture industry. The Aubrey FFA Chapter is incredibly proud of Alexis for earning this distinguished honor and for serving as a role model to her peers. Her success exemplifies the spirit of FFA and its mission to cultivate leaders in agriculture and beyond. #aubreyproud
