Monaco Elementary was one of 170 schools to receive a Promising Practice Award from Character.org in 2021. Monaco's Catching CHAPS program was selected as a 2021 Promising Practice.

Monaco Elementary was named a Kindness Certified School for 2021. MES has received the award from 2018-21.
