At a special board meeting on June 10, 2026, the Aubrey ISD Board of Trustees approved the hiring of the following new Aubrey ISD campus leader:
Lacy Almeida - Brockett Elementary School Assistant Principal
Almeida holds a Master of Education in Leadership and Policy Studies degree from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from the University of North Texas. Almeida's teaching career began as an art teacher in Greenville ISD over a decade ago with additional experiences in Granger, Georgetown and Lake Dallas ISDs. She most recently served as a student support facilitator for four years in Aubrey ISD.
