Today marked the kickoff of Cohort #2 of the Aubrey ISD Aspiring Leader Academy! Over the next six weeks, Aubrey ISD is committed to developing our future leaders through this intensive program. This cohort consists of 35 members! #InspiringLeaders

National Coaches Day was today, October 6, established to honor the coaches who inspire others to do their best. Since it fell on a Sunday, make sure to show your appreciation tomorrow. Education Technology Day is celebrated annually on Sept. 23 to recognize the impact of technology on teachers and students. #chapsappreciate24

Thursday morning, the Chaparral Legacy Cooperative boarded the school bus at the Aubrey ISD administration building with Superintendent Dr. Shannon Saylor and Deputy Superintendent Terrie McNabb for a trip to Fuller Elementary School where they were greeted by campus administrators and taken on a tour led by students. This initiative gives seniors 60 and up the opportunity to learn about the District and see education happening in classrooms up close. The group received parting gifts from Fuller Elementary and additional gifts upon return to the administration building that included District notepads and passes to athletic events.

Aubrey ISD Family, Aubrey ISD school bus route number 2411 was involved in an accident with a student vehicle at FM 2931 and Frontier Parkway at approximately 7:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 2024. All 10 students and the bus driver are fine. The student driver of the other vehicle involved did sustain injuries, requiring extraction from their vehicle, and was transported to a local hospital. The students on the bus were transferred to another bus and taken to school where they are being evaluated by the school nurse and counselors. The safety of students and staff is our top priority. This accident is still under investigation. Thank you for your support of Aubrey ISD.
