Aubrey FFA Brings Home Big Results from Fort Worth Even
Through the Freeze
FORT WORTH, Texas — Cold temperatures, icy weather, and early mornings didn’t slow down Aubrey FFA
students at the Fort Worth Stock Show. While much of Texas was dealing with a winter storm last week, these
exhibitors braved the cold, cared for their animals, and stepped into the show ring ready to compete. Their
hard work paid off in a big way.
The week kicked off with the Breeding Goat Show, where Lexi Gravely earned a 1st place finish, while Zoe
Fikes and Ella Watkins both placed 5th, a strong start for Aubrey FFA.
Next up was the Breeding Lamb Show, which brought more success. London Gravely placed 3rd and 7th,
Alyssa Waddell earned 7th, and Maddox Rodriguez gained valuable experience at one of the toughest shows
in the state.
The show continued with the Breeding Gilt Show, where Naomi Welch earned a 5th place finish. Camila
Guitian, Brady Cassity, Odra Larman, and Naylan Larman also competed, representing the chapter with pride
and determination.
Strong performances followed in the Breeding Heifer Show. Grace Collins and Kensie Bonnell both earned 1st
place honors, while Elliott Wilkinson placed 2nd. Cooper Wilkinson and Brandi Tovar earned 3rd place finishes,
and Evan Wilkinson rounded out the group with a 4th place on a very competitive stage.
The week wrapped up with the Market Lamb and Goat Show, where Aubrey FFA exhibitors finished strong
despite the freezing temperatures. Carmela Castiglione placed 5th, Brandan Waddell earned 8th and 12th,
Brandi Tovar placed 10th, and Alyssa Waddell placed 20th. Peyton Fortner, Sawyer Noles, and Ashley Quarles
also showed, closing out the week with grit and pride.
Between frozen hands, cold barns, and long days, these students proved what hard work and dedication really
look like. Aubrey FFA is proud of every exhibitor who stepped up, cared for their animals, and represented the
chapter with heart, no matter what the Texas weather threw their way.
The annual Aubrey FFA Livestock Show and Sale will be held April 11, 2026, at the Aubrey ISD Agricultural
Center. For more information, watch Aubrey FFA social media platforms.
