The Lady Chaps were defeated by Liberty Christian last night in 4 sets. We struggled to find our offensive consistency for much of the match. We had some really great moments on offense, but Liberty made it difficult for us to be consistent. I was proud of our defensive effort in the game. We did some really good things on defense, but we didn't capitalize on our opportunities in the match. We have to find ways to not allow unforced errors to hurt us in matches. We will be back in action on Friday, September 8th as we travel to Sanger to play. The varsity will play at 4:30, followed by the JV's.

The Aubrey Varsity Football game against Arlington Seguin will start at 7:00pm on Friday, September 8th at Chaparral Stadium. AAYSA participants must be lined up by team/squad in the north end zone by 6:15pm.

Friday morning, at the Fossil Ridge Run of the Panther Invitational, the Aubrey Cross Country teams were hard at work. Senior Gage Owen finished in 15th place overall in the Varsity Boys Division, with 155 runners in his heat. Sophomore Abby Turner led our Varsity Girls to the finish line in 26th place. We had several kids PR this race and we look forward to our next competition on September 9th at the MileSplit TX Invitational at South Lakes Park.
