The Aubrey ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2026-2027 academic calendar at its February board meeting on Wednesday, Feb.18, 2026. The first day of school will be Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026. Teachers return Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026 for staff development.
The first day of school will be the second Wednesday in August. The last day of school for students will be Thursday, May 27, 2027.
Input was sought and received from Aubrey ISD families and staff via a survey to develop the calendar for the upcoming school year. Results from the survey provided administrators with valuable feedback on what mattered most to respondents.
