Your Bi-District Champs! 5/3/24 Aubrey Varsity Baseball captured the Bi-District Championship on Friday evening defeating Dallas Carter (19-0) in 3 innings. Chase Harrington picked up the win on the mound throwing three innings, allowing no hits, no runs and striking out seven. Hank Nokes and Grant Ramsey both had extra base hits with Nokes hitting a double and Ramsey a triple. The Chaps will advance to the Area Championship next week against Waxahachie Life. Area Round playoff details will be announced once determined. At the State Track Meet in Austin, Aubrey delivered outstanding performances. Tyler Brown excelled by winning the 4A boys 200-meter dash and anchoring the state champion 4x400-meter relay team, which included Nate Nkwodinma, Landon Martino, and Ryan McMeen, setting a new 4A state record. Additionally, Ryan McMeen secured second place in the 4A boys 300-meter hurdles and participated in relay events. The team's dedication and effort were evident, resulting in a memorable achievement across these events and others, leading to Aubrey's well-deserved third-place finish. Help us congratulate the entire 2024 Aubrey State Track Team: Landon Martino, Ryan McMeen, Emerson Cagle, Jalaal Thompson, Tyler Brown, and Nate Nkwodinma.

Game Report Wednesday 5/1/24 The Lady Chaps moved to 30-4 overall and secured the Area Championship with 2 wins over Venus on Wednesday night. (10-0, 13-0) Brynlie Dunkin picked up the win in game one with a shutout performance. (only allowed one hit and struck out 14) In the second game Mya Cherry picked up the win with a shutout performance as well. (striking out 14 and allowing only one hit.) Several players had extra base hits in the 2 games. Abby Buxton led the way with 3 Homeruns. Tamia Cherry hit a solo homerun as well as a double and a triple. Brynlie Dunkin picked up a triple. Carmen Alexander had 3 doubles. Mya Cherry had a double. Keeli Fuller had a double, and Judah Van Rijn had a double. 4/26/24 Aubrey Varsity Baseball split with Farmersville in non-district games on Friday evening (1-2) in a 5 inning game and (7-0) in a 7 inning game. On Senior Night, the Chaps were led offensively by Grant Ramsey who had three hits, two doubles and three RBI's and Landon Martino who had three hits, a double and scored two runs. The Chaps finish the regular season as the 2 seed from District 11-4A and will play the 3 seed from District 12-4A. The Lady Chaps defeated Wilmer Hutchins to claim the Bi District Championship. Next week the Lady Chaps will take on Venus in the area round of the playoffs. Below is the schedule:

The Aubrey Chaparral Boys Track Team competed in the Region II 4-A Track and Field Championships at University of North Texas this weekend. Winning the Regional Championship! OUR Boys Track Team, the past three years has won: The District Championship, Area Championship AND Regional Championship 3 years in a ROW!!! Culminating with the State-Runner Up Plaque last year.
Now on to the next step for our Track Team. On to STATE!!! We qualified in 6 events for the State Meet. It will take place on Thursday, May 2nd in Austin. We will have the schedule posted online.
