BES students recently participated in the Music K-8 Magazine Cover Contest, with several achieving recognition. The finalists include Paetyn McCleskey (5th), while Zoe Moore (3rd), Amina Rodriguez (2nd), and Whitney Johnston (1st) received honorable mentions. #AubreyProud

Fans can now begin purchasing tickets to the game on Tuesday. Things to know about the online ticketing platform and guidelines: Go to the link: https://gofan.co/app/school/TX12422 and select your desired game to purchase tickets. Printouts or screenshots of the online ticket WILL NOT be accepted. Tickets will be validated on the fan's smartphone. Scanning devices are not used. No cash will be accepted; all sales are online. There is a $1 convenience fee added to each ticket. Tickets can be purchased online ahead of time or on site. THSCA passes (Holder +2), TGCA passes (Holder +2), District Admin passes, and senior citizen passes/IDs are accepted only. Please DO NOT VALIDATE this ticket before entering the stadium. Children under 5 will not need a ticket. No refunds once tickets are purchased; all sales are final.

The Lady Chaps exploded on offense to defeat Celina 15-3 in a 5 inning run rule victory. This improves our overall record to 20-4 and district record to 2-0. Brynlie Dunkin was the winning pitcher throwing 5 innings and allowing 3 runs on 5 hits and striking out 5. Mya Cherry led the Lady Chaps on offense with 3 Homeruns.

The Lady Chaps are Area Champs after securing an 11-2 victory over Dallas Inspired Vision tonight! Brynnlee Bohannon had 2 goals and 3 assists. Landry Gannon got a hat trick and 3 assists. Macy Childers scored 4 goals and assisted 1 goal. Lilly Stewart scored 2 goals, and Maria Maldonado assisted 1 goal. The girls will advance to the Regional Quarterfinals against Celina on Tuesday, April 2nd. The location and time will be released soon!


We are excited to announce that we are currently hiring for the 2024-25 school year. Positions available at Aubrey High School include Trainer, English Teacher (2 open positions), AV / Graphic Design Teacher, Health Science Teacher, Business Teacher, and Composite Science Teacher / Assistant Boys Soccer Coach. At Aubrey Middle School, we are hiring an Agricultural Science Teacher. For campuses to be decided, we have openings for English as a Second Language positions, including Elementary ESL Teacher and Secondary ESL Teacher. Additionally, we have Special Programs positions available, including GT and Dyslexia Teaching positions. Finally, we have an immediate opening for a PEIMS clerk at West Elementary. Aubrey Varsity Baseball picked up a win Saturday in a non-district game against Denison (10-0) in six innings. Five Aubrey pitchers combined allowing only two hits, no runs and striking out five. Cam Sanders led the offense with three RBI's followed by Grant Ramsey and Braeden Flak with two RBI's a piece. The Chaps return to District 11-4A play on Tuesday, March 26 at Celina. The JV will play at 4:30pm followed by the Varsity at 7:00pm.

The Lady Chaps secured a solid 18-4 record after Brynlie Dunkin's impressive 7-inning no-hit pitching display. Tamia Cherry's clutch 2-run single in the 7th inning sealed the victory. Looking ahead, the Lady Chaps will kick off district play next Tuesday at Celina.


On Wednesday, Aubrey hosted the 2024 Chaparral Relays. The JV and Varsity Girls teams both finished in 3rd place overall. The JV boys finished 4th and the Varsity Boys were Meet Champions. There were many personal records set this week and we have a lot to be proud of from all our track athletes. They are getting ready for the District Championship in April, with one more invitational at Krum next Wednesday, as well as the boys competing at the Jesuit-Sheaner Relays this weeked. The Lady Chaps competed for a 2-0 win against Burkburnett in a pre-playoff warm-up game on Tuesday, March 19. Macy Childers and Brynnlee Bohannon each scored 1 goal. Maria Maldonado and Landry Gannon each assisted 1 goal. As a team, the girls competed at a high level during the game and developed confidence as we prepare for our first round of playoffs! We will face Caddo Mills for Bi-District playoffs on Tuesday, March 26!

Congratulations to Xavier McCoy who will continue his studies and play football at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri.


One Act Play stole the show with their performance of Moon Over Buffalo, placing 4th and earning the title of Bi-District Alternate. Destini Arrington received the Best Individual Crew award, Isaac Cervantes received an Honorable Mention, while Lexie Ermey and Margaret Quade made it to the All-Star cast.
In a separate competition, Chiamaka (Erica) Okafor qualified for STATE in costume design, marking Aubrey's first year competing in this category. Erica's design has secured her a spot among the top 12 in the state, with a presentation scheduled in Austin on May 11-12. Special thanks were extended to student teacher “Mrs. H”, for her support in submitting and coaching Erica.


At last night's board meeting, Jennie Petrasic, principal of Pete and Myra West Elementary School, presented the board of trustees with spirit wear following their approval of the school's name. West Elementary will become the fourth elementary school in Aubrey ISD.
