Getting to Know Aubrey High School's Top 10:
Rory Duncan, a member of Aubrey High School’s top 10 graduates, has been part of Aubrey ISD since kindergarten. During her time at Aubrey High School, she was involved in color guard, Beta Club and National Honor Society. She is the daughter of Andrew and Amanda Duncan. Rory plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin, where she will major in anthropology.

Getting to Know Aubrey High School's Top 10: Judah Van Rijn, a member of Aubrey High School’s top 10 graduates, has been part of Aubrey ISD since 11th grade. During her time at Aubrey High School, she was involved in varsity softball, UIL academics, National Honor Society, Beta Club and senior leadership. She is the daughter of Alicia and Peter Van Rijn. Judah plans to attend the University of Texas at Tyler, where she will major in biology.

Getting to Know Aubrey High School's Top 10: Nathan Hough, one of Aubrey High School’s top 10 graduates, has attended Aubrey ISD since fifth grade. At Aubrey High School, he was involved in football, baseball, track and field, Beta Club, National Honor Society and FFA. He is the son of Eric and Shelly Hough. Nathan plans to attend Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, where he will major in cybersecurity.

Getting to Know Aubrey High School's Top 10: Molly Reid has been part of Aubrey ISD since pre-kindergarten. During her time at Aubrey High School, she was involved in softball and the National Honor Society. She is the daughter of Bobby and Cheryl Reid. Molly plans to attend Sam Houston State University, where she will major in forensic biology on the pre-medical track.

The Lady Chaps completed a two-game sweep of Carthage, winning Game 2 by a score of 12-2 to claim the regional semifinal championship. Mya Cherry pitched six innings while allowing two runs on three hits and striking out two.

School Communicators Day is celebrated each year on the second Friday in May to honor the vital contributions of school communicators and public relations professionals.

Students of all high school grade levels received recognition during Aubrey High School's Academic Awards Night on May 7, 2025. The event took place in the Aubrey High School Auditorium, featuring presentations from all academic departments. Congratulations to all students who were honored for their academic achievements.

Brockett Elementary School - Tara Brindle, Dyslexia Teacher:
“Well, first of all, ‘Wow,’ I’m so surprised and that was really unexpected but so very appreciated. I have had so many students this year, truly, hard to keep up with them all, so many, we’ve just really grown with our numbers. So, I feel like I’ve worked really hard and given these students my all this year, so this is quite an honor… very special.”

Lady Chaps defeat Hillsboro 10-0 to claim Area Championship
The Aubrey Lady Chaparrals softball team defeated Hillsboro 10-0 to win the Area Championship.
With the win, the Lady Chaps improve to 27-3 on the season and will face the winner of Caddo Mills and Carthage in the regional semifinals.
Mya Cherry earned the win in the circle, throwing five shutout innings while striking out 11 and allowing just one hit.
