The Lady Chaps defeated Van Alstyne in four sets Tuesday night, improving to 32-2 overall and 5-0 in district. After dropping the opening set, Aubrey settled in and controlled the rest of the match. Middles Shae Ward and Kylie Miller stretched the defense, while the outside hitters mixed up their shots to find gaps. Setter Baylee Hampton tallied 50 assists and kept Van Alstyne’s defense off balance with her offensive play.
The Lady Chaps return to action Friday, Sept. 26, at home against Sanger. Varsity begins at 4:30 p.m., followed by JV.

Free College Application Week is a statewide initiative that helps Texas residents apply to public colleges at no cost.
Established by Senate Bill 2231 during the 89th Texas Legislature, all public colleges and universities in Texas are required to waive admission application fees for Texas residents who apply through ApplyTexas to undergraduate programs.

The Lady Chaps defeated Panther Creek in three sets Friday night, improving to 31-2 overall and 4-0 in district. Aubrey brought energy throughout the match, executing well on offense and making key defensive adjustments in the final two sets to slow down Panther Creek’s talented attack. Setter Baylee Hampton distributed the ball effectively, and the hitting corps of Shae Ward, Chloe Miller, Kylie Miller, and Libby Collins broke through Panther Creek’s block.
Aubrey will return to action Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Van Alstyne. JV plays at 5 p.m., followed by varsity.

Aubrey ISD administrators, faculty, students and community leaders in a variety of professions met at Aubrey High School on Sept. 15, 2025 for the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Advisory Board meeting. An added bonus was listening to students in entrepreneurship pitch their ideas for upcoming events to enhance school spirit.

The Lady Chaps defeated Richland in three sets Friday night, improving to 29-2 overall and 2-0 in district. Aubrey showed balance in its attack as every hitter contributed in the win. Setter Baylee Hampton paced the offense with 33 assists, and the team executed its game plan to close out the match in control.
Aubrey’s JV teams also picked up district victories. The Lady Chaps return to action Tuesday, Sept. 16, at Lake Dallas. JV will play at 5 p.m., followed by varsity.

Owens Middle School students Aria Baceva, an eighth grader, and Izabella Baceva, a seventh grader, were pledge leaders during the September board meeting. Additionally The board recognized the Providence Village Town Council for its community partnership.

The Lady Chaps defeated Gainesville in three sets Tuesday night. Aubrey brought strong energy and did a great job getting the ball to its hitters early in the match. The Lady Chaps served well, keeping Gainesville off balance, and secured their first district win of the season.
Aubrey will continue district play at home Friday against Prosper Richland. Varsity will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by junior varsity.
